I See London, I See France...

Ok people...it is on!

I am leaving in two weeks exactly for London and Paris for 11 days. I am still in utter shock. I need to pull it together though and I need your help! Where to go, what to see...I know everyone has shops or restaurants that they can recommend so please do!

Je t'aime Europe!

  1. Hi Rebecca! I came to your delightful blog via Dustjacket Attic...
lucky you to go to London and Paris!
i'm French and used to live in the Marais in Paris. I think you'd like this district which is quite chic and hobo (Guerlain just opened a shop there).
La rue des Francs-Bourgeois is great for shopping.
I'm sure you'd also love the boutiques in the Jardin du Palais-Royal (Didier Ludot, Shiseido)
Le Louvre, of course...with a nice snack at Café Marly (chairs by Olivier Gagnère)
High tea at Le Meurice (just for the decor revisited by Starck)
shopping at La Grande Epicerie du Bon Marché in the 7th arrondissement
dinner at Chez Julien, rue du Pont Louis Philippe for an exquisite Parisian ambiance
and of course Les Puces, (the fleamarkets)!

Carol Gillot from Paris Breakfast always has lots of ideas of walks and places to go. She recommended a site called My little Paris which is great. It's in French and English too (www.mylittleparis.com)

    Have lots of fun !!!
